Tom Clancy's EndWar -September 2008
In 2011, the United States and the European Union sign the historic SLAMS (Space-Land-Air Missile Shield) Treaty, agreeing to co-develop technologies for a comprehensive, interlocking anti-ballistic missile system. Left out of the treaty, Russia accelerates development of its own system. SLAMS is activated in 2014. The US and EU launch test salvos against each other, which the SLAMS weapons completely destroy. Emboldened by the success of the tests, the US and EU pronounce "the end of strategic nuclear war," and the world celebrates a new age of peace and security.
Soul Calibur 4 - July 29, 2008
Soulcalibur IV is the sixth installment in Namco's Soul series of fighting games.For the first time in the series history, the game will have competitive online play. This will be the second game in the series to not have an arcade release before the console release.
Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway - August 2008
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is the third entry in the Brothers in Arms series of video games which follow a squad of men, of the 101st Airborne Division (502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment) led by the player-character Matt Baker, through the larger Allied Operations in World War II (with Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood being a spin-off from the main story which is set in the same time line as Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, except seen through the eyes of Corporal Joe "Red" Hartsock, and with a slightly extended time line, who is a member of Baker's Squad). This game once again puts players in the role of Staff-Sergeant Matt Baker during Operation Market Garden in the later stages of WWII.
